Baslogue ®   a basic catalogue system for tracking your items

With the Standalone Edition you are able to install and evaluate (trial) the software for 14 days before purchasing a license.  If you are wanting to evaluate the Database Edition, we recommend that you first evaluate the Standalone Edition - as both editions contain the same functionality.

Once you are happy with the functionality provided, and you want to confirm that the Database Edition will work in your environment, do the following
 

EVALUATING THE DATABASE EDITION FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT

To confirm that you have the necessary hardware and software to run the Database Edition of Baslogue^®, you can perform a full installation of the Database Edition.  You will be able to install the database, install and configure the Baslogue^® Server, install the Baslogue^® Client, and connect the Baslogue^® Client to the Baslogue^® Server - but you will not be able to use the Baslogue^® Client.

To perform the test install, refer to the page for Installing the Database Edition.  Follow one of the Installation Guides available, modifying it as appropriate to your situation.  If you receive the following dialog while installing the Baslogue^® Client then your test installation is successful, and you have the necessary hardware and software required to run the Database Edition of Baslogue^®.
 

Once the above test is successful, proceed to the Purchase Database Edition License page and purchase a license.  Once you have received your license email, you will need to return to the Baslogue Administration Wizard and enter your new license details by selecting "Modify License information".  You will then be able to run the Baslogue^® Client and complete the installation.
